The Telelever class R-1100GS & 1200

This is the R.O "Rudy Ottenhoff" B.M.(Netherlands)
He has done a few modifications on it,and its looks a beautiful bit of kit.
Far as the cylinder head concern,MEZ have done Triple plug conversion.
Also inlet valve increased to 39mm,and exhaust valve 34mm.
Crank shaft oil ways has been redirected,since played up at DAYTONA 1997.

This is story of Championship-Winning 350 Gold Star

With lot of hard work and empty beer can!!.
Start from the bottom! the crank is a work of art a perfectly crafted,
press up ,needle roller job with slim steel flywheels.
This push a Arias forged ,big bore ,squish piston via the Carillo rod.
The crank:rod ratio is dow from 2.6:1 to 2:1 by means of a shorter stroke.
Practically square at 76.5x76,=349cc long long way from stock Goldie 71x88mm.
Only problem you can not over bore it.If it get damage He will have to change liner every time

Cams are stock Gold Star!"BSA's original profile is difficult to improve.
"The inlet valve are central,the inlet track on the Gold Star is one side to the head and to mount a enormous carb in that position result in the instrument fouling the rider's leg. To overcome this George at
Mez Porting cut away the manifold stub,welded up the hole and rewelded a down-draught stub central over the valve.
